Many things, of aimless nature.

Back from the weekly trip to Leicester.
Didn't have much to get though despite my own protestations to the contrary, I did wind up picking up the first bit of House of M... which means I'll probably wind up picking up the other 7 bits of that mini but nothing else except the stuff that happens automatically in the small handful of titles I usually get and then I'll spend a huge amount of time not knowing WTF's going on because somewhere along the line my apathy grew horrendous and I mostly gave up trying to follow 616 in anything more than a vague capacity...
*remembers to inhale*
Which is mostly due to the fact that everything's spread over 60 bajillion different titles all the time, and I'm underpaid, damnit. OK that and I really only like it when Wolvie's angsty, miserable, tortured or naked.
But on the plus side I did see the preview posters for Neverwhere's comic adaptation, which makes me happy though I will most likely be waiting for the TPB.
Oh and I stopped off at Lush too, because I finally, FINALLY ran almost out of shampoo.
I was going to see about getting Mum and JR a b'day pressie too cause they're both coming up soon, but I was almost out of money so instead stopped by the Early Learning Centre and picked up a small purple zebra that rattles when you shake it. Because while it's ostensibly for the bean when it arrives, I thought it was cute :p
Coulda' got the green lion or the orange giraffe, but no. Had to be the purple zebra. And I shall call him Brian, and he shall sit upon my CD pile until Kat's bean actually chooses to emerge.
Oooh, and his feet make scrunchy noises too!
*is so very easily entertained*
Also got a Peir catalogue because they were free, and the chick at FP gave me a Tokyopop preview book which i said I didn't need but she gave to me anyway.
Also, they had a new load of Marvel Kubricks and I know there's a Wolvie out there somewhere, but darn those pot-luck sealed boxes... But then again that's what eBay's for.
Mum finally de-flead the critters. Spam's busy sulking. Robbie's like YES! I'm damp and smell of Frontline! *runs round in mad circles chasing own tail*
Stupid creatures.
My brain feels a little bit scattered today... probably because I woke up around 8-ish thinking that I';d have to get out of bed soon cause, you know... work and crap... then fell asleep again so woke up later going OMGWTF! No alarm!
Then remembered it was Saturday so it was all god, but disconcerting first thing.
I feel the need to write hovering upon me, but I'm not sure my brain's pointed in the right direction.
Hmm. Will see how that goes.

Date: 2005-06-11 05:16 pm (UTC)*is about to launch into a tirade about how she's not really scattered at all, but gets too distracted by the Sanex commercial again, and by the time he's done taking a shower (Shower! Not just situps, there's a second one!) she's completely forgotten what was going on*
Oooh, Dr Who's on in a half hour...
