Back from Notts.
Only thing I can think of right now is that woah, I am tired...
But I snapped some pics for Puppy, did my next cellphoto challenge while I was at it, bought waaaaaaay too much silly goofy crap, and accidentally stumbled on the new location of the Nottingham Forbidden Planet. Which was a little disappointing despite being a really shiny new store. The old one was absolutely minescule and had weird little nooks and crannies with obscure tat in. And the old Another World had 3 levels and all kinds of junk. Merged together they seem to have made one medium-sized store with a rather sanitised collection of new stuff. Darnit I liked the old-stuff, it was like a lucky-dip. You never knew what they would and wouldn't have there.
Ah well, that's life I guess.
Mildly homogenised.
Though we defied convention TWICE and went into 2 seperate comic stores! *shockhorrogasp!*
I was sorely tempted to buy the Mirrormask script book but I am poor and it was expensive. And then I was tempted to buy the Charles Vess illustrated Stardust... but I am poor and it was less expensive but still too much offhand.
Ah well... that's life.
Now I have to star wrapping up these strange and inexplicable odments... though I still need to find a packet of biscuits and a teacup to complete the ensemble.
