the evening in short
Aug. 28th, 2004 09:17 pmSo, we BBQ'ed for dinner, enjoying the very last of the lingering summer days, then came inside and drank wine and watched some movies.
OK, in my case watched A movie. I have no desire to see some Jackie Chan flick about somne guy with broken fingers or whatever... I dunno, I'd consumed a fair volume of wine while they were discussing that part of the evening's pending entertainment. We watched Lost in Translation though, and I ducked out after that.
FYI, It was very sweet, but ultimately not quite as promising as it was made out to be. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but *shrug*...
No great feelings either way on that score. Bill Murray was really quite adorably lost in it though. The acting was good but the movie as a whole I feel was somewhere, somehow lacking.
Aside from that, I've had quite a lot of wine which went directly to my joints so I feel very... bendy...
