lady_t_220I left the house this morning in a fairly old pair of grey-black jeans. All is fine and well until taking a seat when suddenly and faintly I hear... *rip*
*glances around nervously... fumbles to see what gave out*
It was, thankfully, just a patch on the inner thigh where the denim had almost worn through. I teeny tiny hole really, nothing too terrible so I figured. Wandered through Leicester for a little while as though nothing were wrong...
Until suddenly I think... *step - ow - step - ow - step*... the tiny hole had gotten just a tiny bit bigger and the equally worn denim on the other thigh was rubbing against my poor tiny patch of exposed skin and chafing like all blisteringly painful hell.
Hobbled to the nearest New Look and bought myself some new jeans, which thankfully didn't do that because yikes... checking the damage I was about 10 minutes away from drawing blood, I think.
Positively limped like John Wayne to the nearest bathrooms to change my jeans and *ahh* blissful releif. I like my news jeans, they're nicer than the old ones anyway, and even the boywonder noticed they were new... and he's a BOY, so they must be reasonably decent.

whimsicalnotion for many a random chatter about oil painting and also to offload some of the multitudinous boxes of housewear we accumulated for the wedding. There's like another 3 boxes to go, but I could only carry one at a time. ;p
(Please, take some glasswear... it's taking over the house! IEEE!)
And now... well I just found out the Season 4 R4 Snowy River box set with the 5 Hugh episodes is on sale for only 18 quid instead of its former 32... OoO
