As promised... photos for all
Aug. 11th, 2004 06:51 pmA'right you lot. I'm still waiting on people who have actual wedding photos to... you know... send me some. Cause I was too busy being IN the wedding photos to actually take any.
So, in absence of all that, I DO have a bunch of reception photos. Though I have to express great regret that you really can't see the fantasticness of my outfit.. :/ OK, that and I really am starting to think a new scanner is in order, these copies are getting worse and worse and worse. *adds it to shopping list*
Will have to phone Charlie and poke her about the other pics in a little while. But untill then...
To start, some generic people pics:
That's my granny there, talking to my (underexposed) Aunt on the right and my cousin Kate on the left. In the background you can see Rachel, Rachael, Charlie and Bunny.

Again my cousin and her boyfriend Patrick, and in the background you can see our dining room, My mum, Kat's mum, Andy, Dan's shoulder and... ok, someone I can't make out. I think it's Alex, the sarcastic wedding-talking kid.

It's...! A wedding cake

Before the ritual cutting of the cake, you must have the ritual stabbing of the groom...

That would be Zet, trying to separate the ice bags by smashing them against our kitchen floor. By this point in time we'd all gotten changed cause Ohhhh mamma was it ever hot...

Kat's dad, making his (very short) speech. Kat's sister Sam made a very cool speech too, but sadly the photo of her came out blurred. Too much gin in me I'm afraid.

JR's brother-in-law Paul on the left and Big John (Yes... another John) on the right. It's the ONLY photo of BJ I managed to get, because he kept trying to hide. *cackles and snaps one off before he notices*

Charlie, Her mum and the dayglo-pink sari and behind them, one of my Uncle Davids. There were a bunch of South Africans hiding in the gazebo behind them, and another bunch at the table just round the corner, but I sadly didn't manage to get any pictures

This is my grandad and Lisa the goth... I just thought it made a cute photo. Sadly Lisa's not standing up because she was roughly 7' tall when she did due to the world's highest shoes. Her boyfriend leo went to college with the boywonder and she herself is a costumier. Leo was wearing probably the nicest hand-beaded waistcoat in the history of everything. I'm very jealous of her talents.

I have no idea what Bunny just said, but he looks alarmingly smug about putting that expression on Rachael's face. :D

And finally... the bride, hi-jacked mid food-run. Will have more photos of her later. ;)

Date: 2004-08-11 01:44 pm (UTC)So naturally because Charlie's contrary that way, she's called him bunny ever since, and now so does most of his family.
It's just because it's fun to annoy him by yelling "Hey! Bunny!" across crowded city streets. Though he's gotten used to it now. Even his fiancee calls him Bunny...
