And the beat goes on
Sep. 26th, 2002 05:19 pm*rolls eyes* oh man, I am so freaking bored...
I was lying in bed last night thinking "I know what... tomorrow I won't waste my day doing pointless things, I'll set to first thng and spend the whole day writing!"
Great idea at the time, of course it came to naught.
Woke up, grunted, rolled out of bed and set right to watching TV.
Couldn't even face the thought of actually writing anything so far today. I'm wondering if a little less blood in my alcohol system might help. The folks have been drinking Caffrey's all week but, frankly, it's just like water but with a tlight taste of malt. It's crap, really, but they handily neglected to remember that I don't LIKE Caffrey's and so didn't buy any alternatives.
I might set to the Strongbow later on. Maybe see if people feel like finding a movie or something. I got so bored I started raking through all the really old tapes we keep under the VCR downstairs... Ended up watching though an unlabled tape full of mish-mashed random stuff. Had like, 2 episodes of Space Precinct, part of the Muppets Christmas Carol, the last 20 minutes of Short Circuit 2 and a whole lot of really BAD early 90's TV commercials. Peppered in with snatches of long-forgotten sit-coms and extracts from Comic Relief waaaay back in the olden days.
Anyone else rememer the Stones Green Ginger Wine advert with the dancing bottles...? Or the Access credit cards from when they danced in hula skirts and still described themselves as your flexable friend?
Oh, and VH1 are celebrating the 100 worst videos of all time. *shudders*
Tiffany and her one almost-hit "I think we're alone now" was on the last time I dared venture onto that channel. Swiftly followed by East-17's "House of Love"
And we're not even up to number 45 yet...
