Dark side of me

lady_t_220Been pootling a little bit on this fic I've been trying to write with KAT but I'm a little too braindead to go making any great acheivements with it.
I have, however, been doing pretty well at re-writing the stuff I had already. Can't think enough for new ideas but can just about cope with improving on old ones.
JR's been in and out all day so I had to abandon my movie-watching. Not just cause he talks non-stop all the way through eeeverything, but he persists in doing that "Not that again" thing with... well, pretty much every film he's already seen.
It's gotta' be said, I don't understand people who only ever watch a movie once. I love re-watching movies... even bad ones.
Well, sometimes bad ones, it depends on exactly how bad it was.
However, I digress, I just don't get it.
Maybe it's the artist in me, but I figure that is so many people put so much work into this movie then the least you can do is watch it a couple more times and try to appreciate the effort they made.
Maybe that's just me, but I kinda' like trawling for nuances I never spotted the first few times through.
OK, and I like looking at the lovely men type creatures quite a lot too, but that's not the only reason... honest it's not...
Oh, on a somewhat unrelated note, I found out something really rather entertaining about my brother the other week.
You musta' seen that video for Pink's "Just like a pill"... right?
Now, he kinda' likes Pink (ever since the Lady Marmalde video... big shock there) but we were watching VH1 the other week and I discovered that my brother always switches channels at one particular point on that Just like a pill video. You know that part where Pink licks that guy's stomach? Kinda' near the end...?
That bit. He really hates that bit. I asked him why and he said he thought that it was probably the most revolting thing he'd seen on TV for ages... Pink licking some guy's belly button.
I can't halp it. I LAUGHED...
Dekie thinks it's his British reserve showing through. I think it's a beautiful illustration of why I don't let people in my family read what I write. If he thinks licking someone's stomach is disgusting... ^^;;;
He didn't understand why I kept smirking at him after that... hell, I ain't saying anything. I just grin knowingly and insist on watching the video every tiem it comes on TV now just to watch him cringe and mutter about it being gross...
