lady_t_220Spent all of today so far tucked up with my blankie in the comfy chair watching pointless romantic comedies.
Work phoned halfway through K&L to ask if I knew that Julie had called this morning and left a message saying that she needed to change my hours and that I had a shift right now and should kind of be there. I told them I was going to call and say I wouldn't be in but I didn't wake up till really late so I hadn't got round to it... also said that I was ill and wasn't coming in today anyway so...
I never even heard the phone ring this morning so it matters little either way. If they'd called before 8:30 (Half an hour after my shift was supposed to start anyway) mum could have told them I wouldn't be around today, but apparently they didn't, so... I don't give a shit either way.
My brain is leaking out of my nose, I have more important things to worry about.
Folks should start arriving home in about half an hour. I'll have to ask them if they felt that tremor last night. It was on the news and everything this morning. Biggest quake in 12 years.
For my part I never realised they made such an odd noise.
