And we have creativity!!!
Sep. 17th, 2002 12:49 amI just posted this in the cage but I shall stick it here too, for the sake of posterity, and for the viewing pleasure of those who don't go there.
Oh, and I figured out how to get the pictures off the digital camera tat last too... ^__^
For those who care to remember, I have been prone to recent bouts of creativity of late. A few of you have reaped the rewards of both this and multi-buy deals on pillowcases.
One or two of you will also now be looking at me blankly.
Something you can all understand, however, is my sudden and totally illogical obsession with handicrafts which also seems to have rubbed off on KAT and I hope she won't mind me posting her work here too because darnit, he's ADORABLE!
First on the list... Version one, late of the L/R Cheeto-Run comic strips which seem to have vanished/moved without trace.
I introduce Subby Logan. The cutest piece of haberdashery ever to grace my presence.

A few of you have these but this one was the very first. The prototype. The one that never escaped my clutches.
He's also the best TV viewing partner I've ever had though his pillow has gone kinda' flat.
After that was done, came the next and, I believe, cutest damned thing to ever arrive in the mail. He picked me up when I was down, he has real metal claws, he came bearing roses and chcolate and he left his boots and hat off (and am I ever glad customs didn't try and open the box)...
We have KAT's damned adorable Plushie Logan!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! *glomps plushieLogan... and promptly pokes herself in the eye with a sewing needle claw*
Though explaining him to my family was definitely an interesting experience.
Finally... comes the thing that took the longest, though most of that was spent contemplating actually working on him.
He's still missing his claws because my brother is a very lazy man and hasn't made them yet, but in all other respects, he is complete.
It's the one... the only... the "stolen from an EverythingJake.com cartoon strip"... Poke-X!
Pika Pika Bub... Poke-X needs to kill.

And thus ends another edition of creativity corner, time for you all to shake your heads sadly and look at me like the truly, truly sad little person that I am.
Though if I get the chance some day, I really do want Hugh to sign my SubbyLogan... ^__^
I can see it now... me brandishing a pillow... him screaming for security...
Oh, and not posted in the cage though here for your general amusement... as a special treat for KAT, I couldn't get him to ride an Ostrich, but I did manage to organise a Kiwi bird for your pleasure.

Though things did get a little nasty towards the end there. Kiwis don't like being jabbed with claws to make them run faster.
