*Brrrrrrrrr*
Sep. 16th, 2002 11:02 amUgh, it's getting really autumnal out there. It's grey and cold and looking like it wants to rain.
Though I guess it's good funeral weather.
I'm supposed to be heading out there at some point on the hunt for a hairdressing appointment to get my streaks bleached and dyed again. I have astounding roots form hell and I want them PINK darnit! A move which could potentially get me in some deep doodoo at work but *sticks up 2 fingers in their general direction*
I figure they hired me with this hair, it would be kinda' dumb to whine about it again now.
You could argue that I agreed to do something about it while I was at my interview, (Which I did) but as anyone will tell you, verbal agreements ain't worth the paper they're not even written on ^__^
Ah, behold the lack of motivation to do anything at all.
I don't quite feel myself this morning though that probably has a fair amount to do with dehydration after last night. It always makes me feel weird.
Ohh, and I wrote stuff last night. I started working on that thriller fic again, going through the first edit of what I have so far.
I printed it all off a while ago and went at it with scissors and sellotape to stick it all together as a rough plan of how it should go, then edited it all with a collection of brightly coloured felt tips ^__^
I've been slowly working through it, page by page, and after a huge massive stint last night I'm only about 6 pages from the end.
Not the End end, just the end of what I have so far, which is about 40 pages and 2 thirds of the story. I'll admit though that I'm starting to run a little dry. I know how it wants to wind up but I can't see right now how to get it from where it is to where it wants to be without some great leaps in time and space and paranoia.
I'm also wondering if I don't need to change it slightly because the perpetrator is too obvious. *ponders*
At some point along the line I might need to gather up what I've got so far and fling it at somebody with the words "Here... read this. Tell me whodunnit and if you're right I have to re-write"
