Eh, anyway... worked, shopped, shopped somewhere else, shopped somewhere else further, came home... that's taken all fricking day.
Picked up a new sourcebook, this one on 18th-20th Century fashion, for no real reason other than the pictures were pretty and I figure you can never have too many sourcebooks.
It was also way cheaper than I figured it's be, cause it's a BIG-assed book, y'know... but I still got a substantial chunk of change from my crimbo book token so I can get something else with that later on.
Nosed around the sales in town... didn't really see anything I wanted, though I was momentarily tempted by a top I saw in NewLook... but frankly I couldn't be bothered to hang around the queue for the changing room to try it on so I didn't bother in the end.
I have decided that TKMaxx is a very, very good place indeed to go hunting for random stuff though. It's kinda' fun sifting through racks and racks of unutterably mis-mached, disorganised, random, end-of-line clothing on the hunt for the jewl among the pebbles.
It's also cheap too. Yey!
Badgered mum into getting a nice, shiny fod processor too today. There is NO WAY I am going to sit around grating the fekking bread. If it can be blitzed by maching, it's GOING to be blitzed by machine.
We also picked up the groceries for new year's eve today too. Though I'm sorely tempted to start in on that cheese platter ahead of time... :D
