You know you're in England when...
Dec. 26th, 2003 01:18 pmAhh, my love affair with the lady next door continues undaunted. Especially when Mr Next-door acts as porter and delivers to our door a massive tray of fresh, sumptuous, fryer-hot samosas...
Ahh, fresh samosas... that's what boxing day is all about...
Mrs Next-door made poppadoms last year too, but apparently they were going out so were a little pressed for time. Frankly I don't care so long as the samosas make it through. Deity of your choice, bless that woman AND her cooking pots.
The food lasted all of about 4 seconds in this house, it must be said. K&BW arrived home just before the food arrived, which is probably lucky for them otherwise they wouldn't have got any.
So, hunger sated with the best home-cooked food this side of the A6 I feel almost galvanised to start writing something dispite the brain-clogging effect this cold is having on me.
