So you know I mentioned walking round in circles...?
Well, we get the new shelf-edge price tickets through, all 2500 of the little buggers, all on standad size tickets.
We put them out, which takes forever because.. well, there's 2500 of them and, while they're sorted by aisle, they're in generally no particular order.
Then we have to make a note of all the ones that don't actually want standard sized tickets but want little tickets or tiny tickets and go round, hunting them down to change all of those.
Then we go round again, to scan all the items that have change price to make sure the price from the barcode actually matches the price on the new ticket. Then we go round again to take down all the old special offer signs and then if you're feeling super duper enthusiastic you can go round again just to make sure.
You ever feel like you're trapped in a big swirly vortex...? Or mabe just a strange feeling of deja-vu...
So, after all that was done we got waffled at by psycholady and her paperwork obsession which made me almost 15 minutes late, and then we had to wait a further 5 minutes till someone could track down whoever the heck it was that had the door keys so we could actually get out...

So I got home late, missed talking to KAT, though that was almost a full gone conclusion, and am generally just very bored...
Though I was told I was "Quite good" by psycholady so... yey me, behold my total lack of excitement.
Really though, the work that goes into every single little chore. You half wonder why the hell they don't fricking price-check the aisles as they go along ticketing them. But no, for that would be too simple...
And now I am going to go and get my dinner, and maybe write some more and damned well enjoy my day off damnit! (well, almost 2 days actually, seeing as I'm not tin till 7pm on Tuesday... Maybe by then I will have heard back form the court service about that job I'm fairly convinced I haven't got.)
