One upon a time I had a point.

Then I beat my head against the desk a lot and flattened it.

It makes me want to eat biscuits.

(That's biscuits, not biscuits, as in not related to chicken. Just FYI).

Ahhh... as in "Cookie".

Say it with me... "Cookie".

Actually, I was watching a Food Network show about cookies last night and they said you wacky Brits use biscuit from the French word meaning "twice-cooked". They gave no explanation of "Cookie", however.

We use the word cookie too, but it usually refers to a biscuit that's kinda' big and uneven round the edges, still semi-soft and most often kinda' warm.
Then if you leave them for a couple of days they go kinda' chewy...

Biscuits are fully crunchy. Unless you leave the packet open for a week when they go kinda... well... crunchy but with a hint of chewy... like stale cornflakes, you know what I mean?
