I'll be the useless one
Nov. 12th, 2003 09:42 pm*blargh*
So I have about 4 hours during the middle of the day where I feel fine, then I just feel like death again. Combine general cold-induced tiredness with some jet-lag that just won't quit because I'm so generically exhausted anyway, and you get a very crappy-feeling me. -_-
I need a lie in. I really, seriously, physically need more sleep, but I can't seem to doze off before about half 1 in the morning and then I have to get up and go to the grand 'rents first thing... and I have to be fucking PERKY every time. >.<
Because if I'm late, or quiet, or sombre then she whitters and whitters and whitters and it's crazy-making.
*sighs*
----
We have decided that as a family stereotype the boywonder is going to be forever the miraculous, loved by middle-aged ladies, wonder boy, and I shall henceforth be the "aimless drifter". I'm going to be the underacheiving disappointment who wafts through life sponging off more successful siblings. :D
I have no qualms about this.
Mostly because it's fun making conservative relatives uncomfortable.
Though I have informed mother that her lack of concern about my lack of direction and therefore the absence of blazing family rows is screwing up my plan for having a life-altering experience. Because I need to get randomly evicted or disowned due to my general dissapointment of their expectations so I can have a reason to be bumming around either some rail tracks or a water tower so I can get concussed/enchanted/trip over something and therefore meet either a mythological creature that changes my entire perspective on planetary life... or a super-intelligent dog with a sarcastic inner-monalogue voiced by Nicholas Cage.
Wacky adventures ensue.
She said she was sorry for messing up, but she didn't get a copy of the script.
