I was cruising the Marvel website earlier just to see what was supposed to be upcoming, but I think it's the cover to Wolvie #8 that's grabbed my attention the most. (At least I think it's #8 anyway...)
But regardless of that, is it just me or does it look like Wolvie's having a serious Martin Sheen Apocalypse Now type moment there...?






I don't know why, but I find it strangely amusing.

Though I think Wolvie needs more mud.

Okay now I need to stop looking at this because the sheen (no pun intended) on his hair and face has a metallic like look rather than mud and it reminds me of that other terminator made of whatever liquid/metal substance, you know the new improved version that has a better speech pattern than Arnie (can you tell I'm not too clued up on the terminator movies)

Personally I'm more amused by his appearance in Double Dragon (Aagh! The hair!) (http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0106761/Ss/0106761/1-4.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Patrick,%20Robert%20(I)) but that's totally unrelated to what you were saying. ;p

I think rising from the misty murk must be a recurring movie thing.

But maybe you can tempt a plot bunny with it by pointing out that Wolvie'd have to be all slippery and pliant under there, what with the water and everything...
