Ah, so all showered and mostly caught up...
I was fortunate in that I managed to doze most of the way through the flight and again most of the way home on the train so I'm actually not as exhausted as maybe I should be.
The boywonder, on the other hand, stayed resolutely awake through the whole affair and is now a very cranky bunny indeed.
*snickers*
So I guess I need a general summation of the whole event don't I?
The educational part, if you will.
Stuff wot I learnded:
His reputation preceeds him, Hugh is indeed a very, very nice man.
It's really cute when he shakes his butt.
It's even cuter when someone makes him blush.
It's best of all when you can get him to do the big goofy grin because he knows he's seen you before.
From the 3 episodes I've seen so far (the first three), Corelli needed to focus more on the Kevin/Louisa dynamic and less on the episode-specific "main plot", because I just don't care if some old guy loses his girlfriend in a car accident.
I liked brain-damaged!Kevin. He was adorably tragic.
NY traffic is nuts.
America: Nice place to visit, but it's also great to be home.
NJ water doesn't seem to clean my hair as well as East Mids water. *shrug* Dunno what that's about.
United Airline food is not as good as Virgin Atlantic airline food. But they do offer more beverages.
Though this is not a good thing when you're trying to sleep. (Can't you see my eyes are shut, stop offering me caffine...!)
I seem to have accumulated a vast amount of small change in a relatively short space of time.
What the hell is this obsession with cinnamon flavoured candies you people seem to have?
UA check-in staff were a little enthusiastic with the hand-luggage security and whisked my bag through the X-Ray machine before I could say "Hold on there's undeveloped film in th-.... oh bollocks..." (Will develop one roll first to see if anything survives before doing the others, I think... *rolls eyes*)
Hounslow West tube station smelled of bacon and egg this morning.
American Sudafed tablets work way the hell better than British Sudafed. Again with the confused shrugging. It's also nicer to take than the deeply icky-tasting Sudafed syrup that seems to be more commonly available here.
Random parts of NYC streets seem to emit large amounts of steam. I find this really rather strange.
Hang around the BFO stage door long enough and you'll get hit on/verbally abused/generally mocked by Kevin. Kevin was funny.
Remember... It was like this... but with the whipping.
The boywonder sleeps like a corpse. Literally. Hands folded across his chest and everything.
Oh, and I teased him mercilessly all the way home. I actually managed to make him really blush, though I'm not going to repeat what I said. Just accept that the blushing doesn't happen too often with the boywonder so we'll call it a success. ;p

And it pays to have pink hair. People tend to remember that.

If this trend continues all Cager Cons I attend will be marked by a celebrity passing judgement on my coiffure.
Strange........

I was just amused by the writing on the side of the cinnmon gum, claiming to keep your breath fresh.
Fresh how? Like a bakery...?

Hee! You're good with the making people blush. ;-)
I'm just thrilled that you had such a wonderful trip and that Hugh was everything you'd hoped for and more. It's just so nice when everything works out well. :-D
