So we took in a chunk of downtown-y things today. Stuff like the Statten island Ferry (Cause it's fairly sceneic, and it's free. Unlike the Liberty island ferry. And as you can't actually go UP the statue we got some good sceneic photos without actually paying anything, so it was kinda' cool.
Ah, what else...?
Shopping... did much with the shopping. And photos, we did a whole lot of that too. We're such tourists. Heeee... snapping photos of cops and all that kinda' thing.
We would have been out a lot later than we were but we were halfway to stalking Hugh some more when AG got a phone call from the husband cause her kid managed to nearly concuss herself on a diving board while swimming. So no stalkage this evening but damnit, I WILL try and get that autograph at some point.
At present though, AG's at the hospital while they do the general checking over and x-raying thing and stuff and we're all amusing ourselves with Puppy and Cuba (The G.U.S. and pet dog, respectively). We may be getting on to watching Corelli at some point though it's getting a little late. Depends how things go I think. We're playing it by ear.
We were going to go to red Bank tomorrow but that too is somewhat on the *makes vague hand gestures*... cause it depends what time AG manages to get back from the emergency room.
But hey, this is why I don't make plans. At least that way you can always just go with the flow, and it's not as if you can easily run out of touristy crap to visit in NYC in less han a week. We still have eight billion museums available and the Empire state and... you get the picture.
Oh, and Eek and I have decided we're going for a fourth show. We got tickets for Thursday evening as well as Wednesday and Saturday, so we're all good. We're taking Puppy on the Thursday cause we think he'll totally get a kick out of it and it's kind of a thank you for the truly excellent V.I.P. dinner he set up for us at Arthur's landing.
OK, it helps that he works there and all but it was SO totally cool. We had special printed menus with chibiwolvie on them and a really nice waiter guy and a private dining room and everything. Man, it must be so cool to be able to do the VIP thing all the time cause it's such a total trip.
Ah, I guess that's about all for now. Suffice to say the boywonder's birthday got delayed by a day, but we made him blush furius crimson by getting the wait-staff at the Hard Rock to sing for him.
*cackles evily*
It was great, you could so totally see the colour oozing up his face.
Well, that's all for now. I'll be back as and when, and when I get home again I'll have pics for you all. :D

Hey LT!!
Date: 2003-10-29 08:20 pm (UTC)Anyways, this dream was of a picture that you posted either here or at WXF, I don't know which, of you and Hugh!! He had his arm around your shoulder, with such a nice snuggly smile on his face and you (or the dream you) was just smiling, smiling, smiling!!
It was one of those little blinky dreams you have just before you wake up, and like I said, I know it's because I spend WAY too much time online. And because I've been thinking about all the wonderful fun times ya'll are having in NYC.
So, I just thought I'd let you know that, somewhere, sometime, in some different dimension, you have a pic of yourself and the Hughster!
