Finally, finally got to see Finding Nemo.
So far as Disney-Pixar films go, it was... ehh ok.
Not quite as funny as I maybe would have hoped, and a little gooey where maybe there could have been drama, but I suppose it was still pretty good.
Somewhat more squarely aimed at younger audiences than maybe previous ones, it had less of that nod to the parents humour and the animation veered a bit from stunning (Like the jellyfish cloud) To being... well mostly ok. None of it was bad but some of it was underwhelming. Ditto the characters, though I suppose given the kid-friendly movie length it would be a bit much to expect more development there. Though I feel like comic opportunities were missed due to time constraints, especially with the sharks...
I liked the sharks...
But enough of this... I really desperately need to go find something to eat before I keel over and don't get up again.
