*Kicks NTL*
Man it's annoying when you can't get online even first thing in the morning.
I mean, I understand later at night maybe, as if they're having trouble with something and the higher volume of user traffic is to blame but it's freaking 8am, who the hell else apart from a bunch of insomniacs, early risers and sad computer nerds is going to be wanting to surf the net at 8am?
*kicks it again just for good mearure*
You better be working properly by the time I get back...
We've had our first propr frost this morning too. It's darn chilly out there, I'll tell ya that for nowt. Mum and JR are gonna' get a shock when they come back from alledgedly still sunny Spain. It feels this morning like winter suddenly snapped on. Cause we totally missed autumn already.
So, given my connection's non-functional status I shall instead sit here and drink hot loganberry tea (Hm, Loganberry, that's almost a chibi waiting to happen) and think about how much I don't want to go out today.
BUT, I heard from Charlie last night and I'll be meeting her in town later on and we will go and see that darned fish movie before I leave. Though to all intents and purposes she's mildly pissed off at me for daring to go away someplace American while she languishes here at college. But she'll get over it one assumes, so long as I bring back tacky souvenirs.
*nurses tea* Mmm... warm...
Though *blech* I think my teabag musta' broke slightly, there's grit at the bottom... >.<
*whines* damnit... mornings do not start well when your net connection deceives you and then your teabag splits and then you have to go face a frosty dawn all in quick succession.
[grabs her warm and snuggly Wolvermuse and makes a comfy pillow out of his chest]

Net still down. Am getting cranky about it now, it must be said.
Wasn't long at gran's, she pretty much evicted me after half an hour but at least I got paid.
Need to find alternative distraction to net surfing...
