My Package arrived! Yeey you! *smooches*
Cause Hughage and Wolvieage and hairdye make everything better. ;)

You know, I wasn't going to do that One of these 5 statements is false meme because I realised that I couldn't think of anything terribly exciting OR unusual that people may not believe. It's taken this long to come up with anything.

Spot the lie from the following:

1: The seeds of a vigelante were sewn young. When I was eight I threw a half-brick at Henry Sharpe's head and very nearly concussed him in retribution for trying to look up girl's skirts in the playground. And I would have got away with it too, if it hadn't been for those meddeling kids!

2: I have never seen the classic cartoon version of Watership Down all the way through, even though we owned it on video for 10+ years.

3: When I was young I used to draw on walls. All blame would regularly be assigned to Mary Ellen, the invisible troublemaker. My mother used to let me get away with this as, thanks to my granny's insider information, I would then remind her that she used to draw on walls and blame it on Folly Bergere.

4: I once had a dream where I was getting married wearing a wedding dress made entirely out of empty teabags.

5: My fic folder cuttently contains 104 documents, only 25 of which are actually finished. Of those, only 18 have been archived anywhere, and one of those is not under my name.

Okay, so I know you often have loads of unfinished fic's on the go, you definitely have a talent for drawing and I've yet to watch Watership Down all the way through so...

I'm gonna opt for number four because it seems a really strange dream to have, not the getting married part...but empty tea bags???

plus getting married is a theme I'm opting out of for the time being ;)

LOL, indeed all valid reasons, though you forget I am prone to odd dreams now and then. (Remember Donald Sutherland making waffles in the hot-pink caravan...?)

http://www.moominshop.com/Well they sure have lots of merchandise these days...

The moomins freaked out my childhood for 2 reasons. One because Moomin Valley where they lived was a creepy, creepy place, full of characters that you were never quite certain were good or bad and two because of how it all ended.
The funding was cut before the animators were finished making the series, and in a fit of retribution they killed off all the characters in the last episode.
Moomin valley was solowy consumed by this shadow thing that literally crept under doors and through tiny cracks and, wherever it went, just left emptiness.
And the moomins are running around trying to bar the doors and keep it out and slowly it creepts through and eventually everything in moomin valley is consumed and covered by the shadow.

And because it was supposed to be a kid's show, the BBC didn't preview the episodes before they aired them. As a consequence they traumatised many a small child by showing an ending where every single character gets killed in a terrifying, inescapable way.

People fall into two camps with regard to moomins. They either love them or HATE them.
I'm in the latter category there...

ok, I really didn't know those but... you're not serious with how the show ended, are you???

Gosh, that's *freaky*!! Everyone gets killed in the end and there are still people who actually watched this show and liked it? *shudder*

I'm so deadly serious about that ending. It was just sick and wrong...
I think originally the moomins were Scanadnavian, but the Japanese made the cartoon series.

As unlikely as it sounds, I think I'm going to have to go with #3. I know your mum's a very encouraging sort, but I second guessed myself with Eil's and lost. :P
