lady_t_220Mother's finally caved and put the damn heating back on... This is a good thing, it was sodding cold around here first thing this morning.
*pets sleeves* Mmm... stripey sleeves... toasy warm stripey sleeves...
Oh, had random update the other day. The grand'rents previous housekeeper (Oh Chantel of the 3-hour tea-break) has apparently found new employment.
Working as a cleaner for a woman who has 6, yes, six foster kids. As this woman has so many, she is given a government subsidy to hire a cleaner with. Only as Chantel has just discovered, now she's working a whole lot more for a whoooole lot less.
I'd be sympathetic, but I don't have it in me. She was fleecing cash out of the gran'rents for work she didn't do. She kinda' derserves the minimum-wage hard graft, you know what I mean?
Ooh, I just realised, my stripey sleeves go with my stripey socks go with my stripey 'jamas... I'm having a stripey day...
And mum's making lime chutney downstairs, the kitchen reaks of vinegar... *voms*
