*kicks ezboard* Will you stop fucking logging me out???

Years with never a hitch and now *pfft* every 5 bloody minutes...

Oh, and This still totally disturbs me...
There is, IMHO, a fine line between entertaining foofetry and just plain stupid.
I fear this falls on the side of just plain stupid, but mebbe that's just me. It'll probably sell rediculously well.

I had heard something about a "Princess Di" comic and assumed it was a bad joke. I wish I'd remained ignorant about this, actually.

I'm not sure why this bothers me- maybe because it seems cruel to her children. I don't have any objections to using real people in fiction normally but this seems out of line.

As regards her kids, I think the chances of Harry or William actually seeing it are pretty slim. Neither seem the comic book type and, unless someone sends it to them specifically, I doubt it'll really cross their radar any more than documentaries on TV would.
I just think it's in ever so slightly tacky, tabloid, sensationalist taste.
But then I also objected to the Nsuck cameos in that Wolvie story arc. It was just... silly.

I dunno exactly why it bugs me so much. It just does I guess.

True. If it were my Mom though, it would just bother me that someone was mocking her for profit. Of course, because of her public life they've had to deal with tons of people doing just that, but that doesn't mean Allred & Co. are off the hook. It's tacky and worst of all- not funny.

The Wolvie cameos bugged me too.

(Geez, am I uptight or what?! ;p )

LOL, neah. I know where you're coming from. I generally don't like celeb cameos in comics, it seems tacky. Like mutants and such live in a world similar to ours, but NOT ours. Have an original character back-from-the-dead princess, sure... original marvel-verse celeb cameos, great...

Real people...? It's a bit like dragging Hugh into Wolverfic (even just someone mentioning another of his films). It spoils the atmosphere by making our world impinge on theirs.
