I'm so glad to see this love-affair is apparently working both ways... :P~
During his pillar-standing escapade and his stint frozen in ice, the people of NYC egged him on. The British, on the other hand, just egg him.
OK, he's SO never going to come back to this country is he...? XD
I'm especially amused by the hellicopter buzzing him with a crate full of burgers, it must be said.
It also illustrates the intrinsic differences inherant between cultures, it seems. Or maybe we're just hard to impress, I dunno. Apparently it all goes perfectly touristy till about 11:30 at night when all the pubs close. But then you really couldn't expect a load of beered-up Londoners on the scrounge for a kebab and a taxi home to NOT take potshots at a nutcase in a plastic box. It's like asking a Siamese cat not to claw your furniture, or a mouse not to pee on everything it walks over...
Oooh, though back to this morning's ebay hat price, the car horn from Oklahoma is still quite reasonable. :p
