Just made some Patrick Woodroffe wallpapers for my mum from some images she downloaded. Dead easy resizing and stuff but BOY did JR try and make it hard work explaining to her how to set an image as her background...
I have a simple, effective system that involves having a folder called Wallpapers, from which I don't delete stuff all the while I'm using it as a background... JR's dicking around in Windows and system folders, I'm like, seriously... there's easier way of doing this...
My mum, she has no clue. But she listens to me because I ocassionally make sense. :D
Computing for dummies, that's me. Self-taught. I believe in simplicity.
That's the thing, you see. JR believes he knows what he's doing, and a little bit of knowlage is a dangerous thing. Me I assume I have no clue, I find it's safer that way. And this way, finding out I actually sometimes do know how to avert crisis always comes as a pleasant surprise. ;p
Have urge to make icons... but that involves firing up the scanner and moving all the crap off the top of it so I can scan the image I want to use...
Bah, humbug, it can wait till tomorrow.
Oh and crap, I forgot I was going to sort my bike out this week too...
