Ever have one of those moments where it's suddenly just TOO quiet and you start hearing all sorts of random, incosequential noises that, because it's quiet, seem waaay the hell louder than they should do?


Yeah...

S'too quiet... *goes to hunt down stuff to listen to instead*

I tend to hear clickey, buzzy, insect type noises myself. Probably linked to my intense dislike of bugs. :D
Though there was that one time I persuaded myself the buzzing noise was just in my mind, then turned on the light and discovered a queen wasp was contemplating making a nest in my waste paper bin... which freaked me out... XD

Yeah, I live sort of close-ish to a very SMALL little woodland type patch... no forests exactly. The worst we usually have to contend with are some ants and the annual wasp-killing, but I've been plagued by spiders this year...
*shudders*
At least a wasp will usually die when you spray it with insecticide... spiders just keep on running at you. >.<
