Just got back from town. Had a very nice couple of hours chatting and exchanging belated christmas/birthday pressies with allende and, you know, just generally getting a nice break from the work-home-work-home routine.

*waves* 'lo you, you person who's still alive and not just a disembodied line of text, you! ;)

For someone who only lives half an hour away we really should make a point of seeing each other more than once a year. XD



That aside... had random inspiration moment on the bus home. Thoughts about how to incorporate that vignette I wrote recently into something more cohesive. If I can settle down and write the thing that is, I'm feeling rather tempted to read the books I got instead actually. XD

There's always something, eh? ;)
Robert Rankin's Fandom of the Operator cause I love his books, and a copy of Misery because, even though people keep telling me it's crap, I have the inexplicable urge to see for myself.
You have to experience these things to properly appreciate them.
