It's not the heat, it's the humidity that does it, this is what I'm deciding. It actually ios a lot cooler today but the air is saturated at an unpleasant, cloying lukewarm sort of heat, so you walk from the house to the car, car to store, store to car and car back to house, a total of probably 40 paces and you have to peel your clothing off because everything has stuck to you in the 5 minutes you've been out.

Car still acting like a jerk. Lumpy and randomly misfiring. This is not good. Also this is substantially wankier behaviour than normal even for the height of summer so I think someone needs to call uncle Andy to come wave his magic engine wand and stuf. Otherwise I'll be hitching lifts to work all week again.

Not that I actually have any desire at all to go to work, you understand. *Bah, humbug and a Scroogery notion on top*

Mum's going to Manchester again today. Not sure exactly when she's coming back but it'll probably be Monday or Tuesday evening.
Yey, I get to babysit not just the boywonder but JR too. Whoot. *sneer*

I'm thinking I should funnel off some of this passive agressive temperament into torturing a muse or two. I've not written in nearly a fortnight and random ideas are starting to back up and get confused together.

And the forecast for today...

We're due for storms later on today, according to my Dad. He's been put on standby by his work (the Electricity Board) as they've just issued a weather warning. Storms=no internet. Bah. :(

Bah, and no computer too. That means I'll have to resort to archaic old pens and papers and stuff to work out my passive agressive crankiness. ;p
