Oh this amuses me waaaaay more than it probably should...

I miss the long hair though... *sniffs* But hey, if there's going to be more than one Van Helsing film at least we know it'll be back ^____^

What I want to know though... what's with the hat obsession? ComicCon, the photos from the first day of BFO rehersals and now also this morning's signing... hat, hat and hat. In fact it's been pretty much all hat since VH finished filming. With the exception of that US weekly picture with Stallone, and he still had vaguely long-ish hair in that one.
Though interestingly enough *she says, getting sadly warmed to the subject of Hugh's hair*, from the rehersal and ComicCon pictures, there are foofety flicks of hair sticking out the back of the hat, and this morning there are none. My vague guess is on for Peter Allen hair being kept under wraps, though exactly WHY I wouldn't know. (Or maybe he just got a bad haircut, who's to say?)

And now I just have the sudden urge to yoink the darned hat off and see what's going on under there... :D

The man is all about hats. Back in his West End days, there'd be hats over his Curly hair. When he and the fam went to Disneyland, there's pics of Deb, Oscar, and Hugh in a hat. Going to a race with Ashley Judd in Vancouver, there's the hat over his growing Wolvie hair. With the long Van Helsing hair, he was constantly in hats. Now that the hair's chopped off, again, there's a hat. It makes ya wonder just how many baseball hats the guy has in his closet.

Tell ya what, when you go see The Boy From Oz, wait outside the backstage door and when he comes out, demand to know what it is with him and hats. Hee! He'll probably be wearing a hat when you see him.

Hee! He could be his friends' hat charity. Get a hat for some promo or other, give it to Hugh. Go on vacation somewhere and want to buy souveniers for friends, get a hat for Hugh. Go shopping at a flea market, pick up an old hat for Hugh. *snicker*

BUT, I still wanna' know what haircut is lurking under there currently. :D

I'd imagine it's similar to his Someone Like You (Animal Attraction) haircut. I am eager to see what it looks like when he dyes it, though. :-)

Well, the flower does distract quite well, though I will admit that I think the hat conceals better.

We used to turn white flowers all kind of interesting colours when we were young, just by messing around with food colouring in their water.
