lady_t_220Just got dragged out for an emergency granny whiffling moment. Their front door wouldn't lock so, naturally, they call us because being the technical minded souls what we are we can, without doubt fix everything right this second now because first thing tomorrow just won't do...
Uh yeah, right.
It's a new door so we figured, I dunno, might be having trouble with that UPVC door handle thing that involves lifting the handle up before locking it. It'll be something stupid, without doubt...
Got there and discovered the entire barrel had fallen out of the door. Well, not technically totally fallen out, more kind of half out, half wedged somewhere inside the locking mechanism, wobbling about a bit in a precarious sort of way.
I'm like, dude... this is fucked.
Properly and truly buggered and there is now way we can fix this at quarter to midnight...
So we wedged a lotta' stuff against the inside till tomorrow morning.
Grany looked kinda' pissed but *eh* what can ya do?
Unfortunately though, the jaunt out there has made me snap out of my dozy stupor, so I see insomnia heading my way again tonight...
*sighs*
