Muse strike hits the Midland

Took a stab at drawing earlier. Discovered that I can't. Partly because the artistic muses have given up the ghost somewhat, but mostly because the niggling back pain I've been suffering from since Friday really isn't helped by sitting in one spot, bent over a sketchbook.
I've heard of suffering for your art, and frequently I have, but even I have my limits.
