The votes have been counted and the results are in.
There is something wrong with the dog, only we don't know what. We also don't know how much of it is hamming because she's TERRIBLE for acting up when something's wrong. But she's whimpering a whole lot and now can't seem to get up off the floor even though she went for a walk earlier. She was limping a little though apparently, like she was having problems with her left hip.
Now it seems she's having some real trouble getting up off the carpet. She keeps squirming around like she wants to get up but her back legs won't totally co-operate. She can move them but can't seem to lift herself up.
She came shooting out of her basket just now, screaming the whole way, dragging herself by her front paws and that's, uh... not good, y'know?

So we've given her some more pain meds and we'll see how she is in the morning. We'll have to get the vet tomorrow most likely if she's not doing any better.

I hope the pain meds help her feel more comfortable, poor girl, and i'll keep my fingers crossed at this end!

*hugs*

Poor Roxy-dog. :-( Give her an extra huggle from me.

Oh, and if things get worse, there are all-hours vets out there that you can probably take her to.

I woke up to the sound of her yowling as she attempted to go outside. Result of the vet trip is a potential diagnosis of sudden onset chronic arthritis, though we have to wait and see if the drugs he prescribed her actually do anything before we know for certain if that's what it is.
