Well, bugger me... I drew feet!

I'm actually surprisingly pleased with how this turned out, which is deeply unusual for me. And for once my scanner hasn't totally betrayed me, wich is even more unusual... But if I'm still in a random drawing kick it does explain why I can't seem to write for love nor money.
*Looks at pic* I've almost impressed myself...

Damn girl that's excellent!
I'm trying to do a pic of Angel sprawled naked across a bed, it looks nowhere near as good as that!
ME: Very impressed...

I'll tell you what I turn to almost religiously for nudes, and that's the Taschen bok "The Male Nude" edited by David Leddick. It's technically a history of the male nude in photography but it's probably the best source book I've ever found. It's about an inch and a bit thick, has hundreds of photos, almost always has just the right pose you were looking for... definitely worth finding. It usually turns up in the art section, on the top shelf somewhere near the Erotica Universalis because, obviously, it's full of naughty bits... ;p

Re:

Woah!
Date: 2003-07-20 11:27 am (UTC)I don't think I've ever seen a drawing look so fleshy before. I want to run my hands all over him and that's not just because he's incredibly sexy; I mean that innocent look on his face and then that sinful body. It's because he looks ... flesh.

He's pencil on A4 cartidge paper, based on a photo by Adrian Jones called "Carmillo". I changed the face though, the original Carmillo looked alarmingly pouty. ^^;
