You call that a storm?
Jul. 16th, 2003 10:49 pmMan, there is no end to the utter patheticness of this weather.
The sky grew storm-light yellow, heavy clouds drifting in from the west to darken the evening as one by one the streetlamps were forced to light, rain finally starting to seep from the sky in light, cool droplets...
Which lasted for all of about 10 minutes, had a handful more slightly anemic rolls of thunder and then vanished again.
*grunts*
So the headache grew steadily worse and worse and worse until finally I had to admit defeat and go lie in the dark for a bit. I think I fell asleep for an hour or so and, in all probability, I should have just stayed in bed because now I've gotten up again I have the feeling I won't be getting back to sleep any time soon.
However I may yet be proven wrong, I'm still dog-tired. But I feel ooky and sticky and a bit on the grungy side so I'm gonna' grab a nice, cool shower and then most probably go back to sleep.
