lady_t_220Feel a little better now... Had some wonderful pills and drank lots of water and the headache has receeded slightly even if not entirely gone.
Went into town after work. It was hot and unpleasant and there were flying ants eeevery fricking where. Musta' been swarming cause it was like walking through insectoid fog.
So, was on the hunt for a present for the maternal unit... Ended up getting myself a copy of the Art of X2 (hardback version with the script in) which cost an arm and a leg, but you know how these things go.
Got into a discussion with the new and cute-but-almost-certainly-gay till-guy in the book store about it, and whether Jean would come back as Phoenix in the next one.
The appointment of new-guy-who-likes-X-men seems to astoundingly have coincided with Ottakars' decision to FINALLY start selling Marvel TPBs.
I'd wonder if there's a connection but it's a stupid thing to ask really.
So, you're all asking, what did I get for my mum in the end? (And for those not asking, I'm going to tell you anayway)... I ended up getting a nice, plain silver frame. I just have to work out what to put in it. It's a toss-up between a photo or a sketch. Kinda' depends on whether I can finish a sketch in time for tomorrow morning.
So on that note I'd better actually get to work on something.
