lady_t_220OK, I've actually managed to write smut now this evening... I'm rather pleased with myself.
I figured out that if I just totally abandoned all the waffling stuff I'd written for the start and leap right on into the pornographic parts it seems to work a lot better.
It's also rendered a whole lot of that opening few pages totally pointless which is also another good thing. I fear I've been waffling in my fics too much lately.
Too much prose, not enough action. Evidently I've turned into a kind of 3rd-rate fic-Tolkein. :D
And now a quiz while I let my brain ponder on other matters:

What is love?: Irrational and uncontrolable. Forgiving until forgiveness can only go as far as acceptance, and it rememberes even when it would be easier to forget.

Does fire fascinate you?: Yes and no. It frightens me a little in truth
Do you have a short temper?: More like a krakatoan one. I'll go a long time just being lildly cranky but every once in a while I will explode with very visual results.
Are you a friend to dragons?: I'm sure I would be if I met a nice one.
Are you very warm hearted?: I like to think so, though I'm ultimately more than a little self-centered
Do you feel intense emotions?: Usually, though not to the soap-opera level of the people I work with. I guess compared to them I'm positively reptilian

Are you bright?: People told me so all though school so I'm willing to believe them. ;)
What are the three most wholesome things you've done lately?: Uhhh... I don't honestly know. Oh, yes I do, I visited my granny, that's wholesome, right? As to the other two I'd say stuff about spending time with the family, but we invariably end up talking about religion, sex, phychology or something else that involves everone getting opinionated. I'm not totally convinced that fits in the wholesome bracket.
Is vibrance a good characteristic to have?: Yes, so long as it's not first thing in the freaking morning.
Are you rich in self confidence?: *snort*
Are you rich in vitamin C?: Well I sure do drink enough OJ, so I would guess so, yeah
Is Lala Orange your favorite Rainbow Bright character?: Uh... no. I prefered Dangermouse. :D

Are you a very happy person?: It depends what we're doing... I'm probably more notorious for being quiet.
Do you like the sun?: so long as it's not combined with humidity, bring it on!
Do you ever feel utter and complete joy?: Once or twice, yes... and they were both pretty mind-blowing
Do you feel like the volume in your life is all the way up?: Noo, I spend my time cranking the volume knob around trying to get a good balance. ;)
Do you feel warm inside when you hug people?: it depends who I'm hugging...
If you were a Care Bear would you be Cheer Bear?: Hell no...
Are you lemon scented?: Not unless I've been working with lemons or lemon-scented cleaner.

Are you easy going?: usually, yeah. With a tendancy to get highly strung if you stress me out.
Are you very mischievious?: Theoretically yes, but I never have the nuts to carry it through.
Are you very lusty/sexy?: Lusty, yeaaaah baby... but sexy is in the eye of the beholder so i refuse to answwer that one. ;)
Ever find a four leafed clover?: Once, yup. I have it pressed and sitting in a decorated goose egg somewhere. Dunno where exactly though. It'll probably turn up when I move out.
Are you fresh like mint?: Only when I just get out the shower. *wafts radox mint shower gel*
Does nature speak to you?: Only the dog and a few odd cacti. Do they count? :p

Is it very difficult to upset you?: Ahhh... upset, no, not really, but it's never long-lasting. Freak out or squick me though, heeeeell yeah... I have a very high squick level.

Are you comforting?: I'd like to hope so from time to time

Are you royalty?: Not for about 1500 years now no... I'm very distantly related to an invading king on my grandmother's side alledgedly. The rest of my ancestors were farmers.
