So anyway, what have I been doing?
Well, bits and bobs, this and that... wrote a little but not as much as I was hoping to get done. Watched X-men cartoons on cable, mostly.
It was one of those things. I forgot JR was at home so every time I was just getting settled into some good, idle wallowing, he'd appear out of nowhere and start talking at me.
Most offputting.
Ah well, at any rate, I did get a little more on that other L/R fic done, while at the same time exorcising a half-formed idea for a totally AU fic by incorporating it into the extra convoluted play-within-a-play-within-a-fic plotline that it's got going on.
Makes my brain hurt just thinking about it. :p
Mum should be back soon though. 'Nother couple of hours, tops.
Oh, and I answered that quiz they have over at Jackman's Landing. I knew all except 2, one of which I had to look up in Origin (Cause really, who the heck's gonna' remember offhand how the Howlett family's fortune was made, apart from people with a reeeally good memory) and the one question about Logan in his bestial state days which I had to look up online because I've never read any of those issues.
So yeah, other than that all is good.
One's gotta' say though, for a Hugh-related contest, it had a lotta' stuff about comic book trivia in it, didn't it? Stuff about why comic-verse Lady Deathstrike hates Wolvie's guts probably isn't in the lexicon of the average non-comic-reading Hugh-fan. Heck, it wouldn't have been in mine either if Deke hadn't got me those 2 Alpha Fight issues the other year.
Still, can't complain... At least it means I stand a vague chance of winning something. XD
Yea, for I have nothing better to do with my day than attempt to win press clippings. ;p
Hmm, feeling the desire to draw right now... maybe that's why the writing is stalling. I must be going through another of those random artistic phases again.
