lady_t_220My legs hurt... And I don't want to go all the way back into town to get JR because darnit I've only been home a couple of hours myself... I'm TIIIRREDDDD *whinges*
So I get tomorrow off apparently, cause it's really empty at work tonight. So unless they fill up late and Lesley phones then I do get a niiice 3-day weekend.
Got paid oodles this week too, though that's purely to do with 2 intese-work days happening to fall within the same pay-week, by dint of doing the Friday work a day early.
Next week will be a little light in contrast... but hey, at least I'm doing quite well at paying off the money I owe my mum. Not often I do that. :D
Still want to look for a new job though. They're supposed to start doing spot-checks again next week. They do this every now and then... spot-checks which they're SUPPOSED to do lots and lots they kinda' do for a couple of weeks then forget about or get distracted and don't bother with or just plain get bored of...
I d'un like spot-checks. Doing the upstairs rooms has made me realise just how much more WORK the downstairs rooms are... >.<
All the bathrooms have weird bits of box-work that need constantly wiping down and glass-topped counters that show all the tiniest flecks of dirt.
Upstairs just has a dust problem and a slight case of rising damp. (Which, might I add, they need to deal with before their buildings insurance comes up again, or the health and safety inspectors make their rounds.)
Eh, I'm going to have to stop talking about work. I'm boring myself.
And darnit, I've been sneezing like crazy since 9 o'clock this morning. I think I'm like, allergic to the starch in the new bedsheets or something...
