marvelgirl this morning.
A litte damp around the edges, but then it was pissin' it down with rain again. Pretty much like it has done non stop since yesterday morning.
The leak at work finally blew out the light and the electrician cracked the casing to let the water drain out. We've had to put a bucket under there because it's dripping pretty much constantly at the moment and we still don't know where the water's coming from... :/
Other than that, not done much so far. Took Lesley to Tescos and back again today cause it was raining so badly. Managed to to time it right so I went out just before the end of my shift but not QUITE done, so I was 99% finished but didn't clock off technically until after I'd done a full 5 minutes of light hoovering. ;p
Which is good, cause I know what a freaking tightwad the bosslady can be about crap like that. Of course she's not here this week cause she's in Germany, but still... I ain't a free taxi service, y'know?
Mum got a gigantic bouquet of flowers off some of her newly-graduated students today. Which was nice. She had to call JR to come pick her up from college cause they were too bulky to take home on the bus.
She's gone off somewhere or other till tomorrow evening some time I believe. Another of her meeting doofahs. I don't quite know where, I'm not very good at remembering this sort of thing.
Ohh, yeah, we took delivery of the new laundry service linnens today...
*falls over*

That's a lotta' sheets... I mean, ok, I know that we technically need enough for 2 weeks and all, cause they collect them weekly instead of us washing them daily, but maaaaaaaan...
We had to lug all the old sheets upstairs as well as all the old towels. All the way to the attic room... up an awful lotta' stairs...
I thought Lesley was gonna' keel over or something. XD
Not good, really.
Right now we're still stuggling to find places to store everything. Cause there's like 6 times more stuff than we're used to having cause we're obviously, not doing this on a wash-and-wear basis any more.
Eh, I have nothing more to say.
Other than the attic store is fulla' crap and I'm kinda' grungy from rooting around in it.
