I think my horroscope's being overly optemistic.
Although you've always prided yourself on being a visionary, you must be practical today. It's simply not realistic to try new endeavours right now. Force yourself to carry out boring routines, even if they seem pointless and stupid. By the time evening falls, you'll see the wisdom of getting such chores out of the way before the work week begins. Resist the urge to complain, because it brings everybody else down.
*looks at clock* Well, it's definitely evening... and I'm still not seeing the wisdom. :p
Just been watching the Scrapheap Challenge super war... UK, USA and French teams fighting to build 1910 aeroplanes in 2 days, using period tools and junk.
Veery nifty plane the Brit team built. Flew first time and whupped much ass... won the competition by a mile.
Americans barely got off the ground, the French built a very aesthetically lovely plane that flew pretty nicely indeed, but didn't really get that high... Brits just like Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... watch us flyyyyyyyyyyyy first time, land like angel delight and circle the field for ages on our supposedly "short" test flight...
Very entertaining. And good to see the staunchly Pro-American judge have to eat his words when it became obvious the American team was getting nowhere and the Brit team he'd dismissed totally just out of hand were actually gonna' wipe the floor. ;p
French were all like sitting in a bar smoking and drinking Pernod at 2am kind of attitude... Americans, bless 'em, were astoundingly easily riled up and panic-y.
Brits all like... oh, I made a mistake... never mind eh, we'll just make the wings a bit shorter... and a bit wider... and fly by the seat of our pants I suppose. Anyone fancy a cup of tea?
Really, they were the most British British people I've seen in a long time. XD
Must be a side effect of shipping them all out to Cally to film the show.
Hm, not heard from Rachael so looks like it's just me going to Char's tomorrow.
Not really surprised, she's been out of communication all week. Dunno what's up with that. I guess she's just too absorbed by Bunny.
Have a ton of stuff I should be doing this weekend.
Don't feel inclined to do any of it. I want a relaxing, non-working weekend thankyou.
