lady_t_220*urk* forgot to update...
Work was hot and humid despite the huge amounts of rain since late last night.
The big-assed Wolverduck picture for AG is actualy almost done. Been painting pretty much ever since I got home so I'm starting to have a little trouble focusing right now... @_@
I only have plumage and his beak left to do, so just a lot of black, white and yellow.
The pond water and lettering took a while and I'm still not, like... THRILLED with it but it's passable and, after all, it is only a comedy duck.
It's been a long time since I painted this big. I feel very, VERY out of practice.
I got stuck into painting A2 all through college and have barely painted at all since leaving so... despite the size of the work I used to do (roughly 6'x6') I'm finding the size on this a bit of a grind.
This is the other reason for keeping the other pic down scale a little. Makes it a whole lot easier to work around. Right now I have this one sitting on the bed while I hover around it, faffing artistically (otherwise known as making a really big mess)
But kneeling down to get the details has started to get painful so I'm taking a wee break.
Will probably have more to say when I'm done.
