Mmmmmmmmmmm... leather paaaaants... and many an entertaining moment too. (Heeeeee... Gollum)
THOUGH... I think we get a different edit of the show to you guys in the US... I say that only cause someone on my friends list made a comment about Hugh kissing the camera backstage before the presenters went on for the best kiss award, and we definitely didn't get that. Trust me, I was watching out for it.
I feel cheated... ;p

So what else... hmm. Wrapped Rachie's b'day pressie. I have to make time next week to give it to her. There's something going on on Saturday, I know, (Anime thingy doofah at Leicester Uni) but I'm scared she's going to make us all go to Retribution on the 12th... the Thursday of her actual birthday... which will be a bad bad bad thing cause I have to work on Friday morning.
I hope she's not going to be all weird and obsessive about it though I know she's been threatening it.
*grunts* We'll cross that one when we come to it I assume.
Put bluntly, not only can I NOT go cause dude... I have a freaking job I can't afford to lose, but even after that, I still just d'un wanna go. :D
Call me killjoy, for I will suck the party right outta' your plans.
I've been worming my way out of it indefinitely so far, but one of these days she's gonna' get me and make me go *shudders* clubbing...
See now if it was The Nuns, with a decent band playing, or even just The Nuns on a regular Thursday night then I'd be there no sweat. I just have a violent physical aversion to clubs.
Pubs... pubs are good, I understand pubs, they suit my purposes and no one expects you to dance unless you're fully incapacitated by alcohol. I can't physically get drunk enough for that, I tend to feel nauseated and want to go home before that part happens.
Clubs on the other hand are a whole different entity and I genuinely would rather scratch my own ears off than spend the night in Pulse getting hit on by slobberingly drunk morons.
Ah, such a high opinion I have of my townsfolk...
Really, you'd feel the same if you saw them.
Have to phone Char this week too and find out what's going on.
