*yeech...*
So, what a day...
Had to call up JR at work and tell him that his sister had phoned. To be technical, his sister phoned to say that one of his cousins had just been killed. (Hit and run in Australia, testament to the fact that you should never cycle in the fog)
So that was fun... a little ray of sunshine for you day there.
Thankfully, I suppose, it wasn't a cousin he knew terribly well (only really met him twice). So, while it was a shock, it wasn't the all-consuming craptacular event it could have been.
Picked him up from work, got home just in time to take off my shoes before mum called cause she needed picking up form the station... went and got her... listened to her complain about her allergies and how they only affect her when she's here (Manchester, apparently, has no pollen left amongst the concrete)
So, tied with this morning's hectic workload, I've had... ohh, about an hour where I could actually sit down and not be driving/cleaning/standing around waiting for someone/going up and down stairs because I work with morons who keep forgetting things...
Everything from the knee down feels like it's throbbing. >.<
So I'm going to wait for dinner, then I'm going to sit and do absolutely sweet fuck all until tomorrow lunchtime when I'll go to leicester and try to buy the Rachiemon a b'day present.
I'm abdicating all responsibility for Sunday. I plan to spend it asleep.
