Jeremy, Hilary, Boo... Ph.d
May. 29th, 2003 07:54 amSo tired this morning. Fighting the urge to lie down and doze indefinitely, which is not good.
From the WXF Newswire section, a strange lil' snippet 'bout Hugh.
We'll just call this another one of those vague Hugh related rumors, shall we?
"If cartoonist and writer Tom Scott's movie about the life of Sir Edmund Hillary gets made it will be like Dr Zhivago crossed with Raiders of the Lost Ark with elements of Empire of the Sun thrown in.
"Scott told NZPA in a recent interview that a major American studio was interested in seeing the script he had written.
"I won't put a hex on it by saying which one," he said.
"Australian actor and X-Men star Hugh Jackman was "attached" to the proposal and Scott sounded a little bit happier about that than some of the previous actors suggested to play Sir Edmund."
*sniffs*
Man gets around a bit, don't he?
As it's not even been picked up by a studio yet I'm going to consider this one unlikely, along with the Bollywood movie rumour.
But entertaining none the less. Just wait till Hollywod gets a hold of it. You'll be getting high drama and star crossed love triangles in the middle of the mountains, someone out for revenge and a sub plot involving one member of the climbing team doing something inappropriate to a native.
*nods* You just wait and see.
