more coherant but really... not...
May. 21st, 2003 06:50 pmOy, stomach still feels kinda weird and on the fritz. It's not been right since that food poisoning y'know... >.<
Besides that... let's see. Did a bit of journal hopping. Always good for finding people who are having a worse time than you are, which generally results in me feeling better. Other than that I've not done a lot.
Spoke to Kat brielfy earlier on, but Eek doesn't seem to be around today so the long and rambling e-mail chats we have obviously didn't happen. So I'm feeling a little aimless.
Work was short and boring. The lads were off college till lunchtime so they were all still in their rooms which cut the day's workload in half. So I whiled away some time doing pointless chores but ended up coming home pretty early.
JR used my car to take mum to work this morning and in the process somehow managed to lose my Yakko Animaniacs keyring.
I was most upset... mum broke his ear off last year some time and he was getting kinda' scuffed and grubby, but damnit I loved that Yakko keyring. But he gave me the keys back with just this stub of chain dangling on there...
I'm like... John... where's Yakko?
He said he had no clue and that he thought it was on there, or had fallen off in the car or something. It wasn't and evidently it hadn't, so I guess that's that.
(And he kept referring to him as Micky Mouse. He was a damn Warner Brother, it's not even the right studio, darn you!)
I ended up replacing him with the resin spinal column and pelvis keyring Richard gave me many moons ago as a christmas present.
(Strange gift I know, but strangely suitable given my liking of backs...)
Anyway, I'm hoping that doesn't get broken and/or lost any time soon. I need to find something else to put on there really, I have mental images of someone borrowing the car and coming back with a snapped off pelvis.
