OK, so... the online booking facility for BFO BLOWS, just as a warning.
They take international orders, so Great, we thought. I have money so I'll get one set of tix now and Eek will get the other set when she gets paid. Works out fair and all that and we'll still go with the cagers when they know what they're arranging. Three times in total, how nifty do you want, eh?
Well we got as far as finding the tix we wanted, entering details all fine and hunky dory... check them to verify yes they're all ok and pressed the button to finalise the purchase and...
Nothing happened.
Nothing happened for a good 5 minutes.
Clicking the button again yeilded a message that said the request had been submitted and to be patient...
Now the tickets only temporarily hold for 10 minutes, after thet they go back into the circulation again... wait another 5... still nothing.. what the hell, let's wait another 10 just for the fun of it... bugger all.
Big pain in the butt and makes me very disinclined to try it again because it concerns me when online purchases do that. Because for a while there you don't know which way it's gone. Has it worked? hasn't it worked? Do I go back and try again only to discover that I've now got twice as many tickets as I needed?
My inner anxiety self screamed at me very loudly so Eek phoned customer services. They said the order hadn't gone though but there's a part of me that does not trust them.
Advice o' the day, if you're after tix, phone 'em and try speaking to genuine human beings, you might actually get something that works.
So I'm feeling a little... frought as a result. And very much in need of sleep cause it's getting kinda' late.
