No, really, he's made out of chocolate.
Mum thinks I've had food poisoning rather than just a stomach bug. I was doing really well all day and then my brother started cooking sausages... *LT turns green*
Every time. Pork or sausages, it makes me want to curl up in a ball and die. My mum, veteran of a childhood of food poisoning (Thanks gran) pointed out that on the most part, whatever gave it to you in the first place is usually the thing you just can't cope with facing afterwards. I mean it's been literally almost a week now. I've not actually BEEN ill since Friday night but the lingering nausea is staying around too long to be a regular upset. The on-again-off-again stomach ache ain't helping either, y'know?
And as I say, I was fine till the boywonder decided to have sausages for dinner.
Now I'm going to crawl back to bed for a while and wallow in the fact that a cooking smell from downstairs can make me want to hurl up my guts.

Date: 2003-05-08 11:46 am (UTC)The culprit meal is probably the lunch or dinner you ate before you became ill. If you ate out, probably the preparer of the meal didn't wash his/her hands sufficiently.

Either way too late now, wheaver it was. I've snagged tomorrow off work so I have all weekend to get back to something more resembling normal at least.
