More of the same

lady_t_220I've been amusing myself today with the Canadian Mostquito trap Kat left. It's like a steel bear trap only really reeeally small...
It's a lotta' fun though, and it goes snap when you set it up right.
I think I may add it to my keychain at some point.
Also, while pondering soup for dinner I was hit by a random X2 L/J smut-angst plot-bunny. It's still in the formative stages of being contemplated, but there it is. Of course by the time I'm finished with the novelisation it may have morphed into something else entirely, you never can quite tell. Either way it would kill two birds with one stone. X2 fic and also a chance to use up one of the random bits of scenario sitting around on my HD that as yet have had no published use.
Right this second now though I'm in no mood at all for writing smut (multiple reasons for that) so it'll have to sit and stew for a while. But I'm thinking the 2 weeks off might have done some good. The urge to write is feeling a little more like an urge and a little less like a habit again right now, which I'm hoping should yeild some half-decent results. :)
Oh and had an E-mail from Kat when she got to Gatwick so at least I know she got that far ok. She'll be mid-atlantic right about now I'd guess.
