lady_t_220K&BW made it to Kat's parents' house fine. They called a few hours ago to shake a chicken down the phone at me (bok bok bok... PUCKERK!)
It's a family thing, don't worry about it.
So yeah, they're all in South Africa, all in one piece, all in posession of their appropriate luggages and sounding reasonably happy to be there, which is good news.
Mum & JR went out to a car boot sale this morning and still aren't back yet. I actually dread to think what they're going to drag home this time. They were gone before I woke up so they've been out a good few hours already. Mercifully the Jabba-slug is pretty small so they can't physically cram too much shit in it, but still... I half expect the maternal to be adding to her miscelaneous collection of oversized serving bowls we never actually use. I'll be shocked if she doesn't return with some variety of pointless crockery along the way.
