Spent the vasy majority of the afternoon trying to fix a fic I've been struggling with. I've had to retroactively go back to the beginning and paste in a whole other character because none of the existing ones can actually achieve the thing that drives the plot along. It's sort of like trying to beat yourself to death with a styrofoam hammer; tedious, difficult and not especially pleasant.

I made it through about 2 chapters before wanting to spork myself in the head. Needless to say, it's not going well. I should probably just admit defeat and go back to writing porn, that always seems to work out so much easier...
